Images of Floods in the Area - January 2009

On New Years Eve, 2008 the waters of the S. Yamhill River rose to a level not seen since 1964.  The City was fortunate since the water rushed through the City and spilled over the banks in the lowland east of the City.  The aerial photographs were taken by The Sheridan Sun on New Years Day about 12 hours after the water crested.
